I believe that Steampunk is more than just brass and watchparts. It's finding a way to combine the past and the future in an aesthetic pleasing yet still punkish way. It's living a life that looks old-fashioned, yet speaks to the future. It's taking the detritus of our modern technological society and remaking it into useful things. i love the color of the stone. i really like the doors too, especially the shape of the window...athough the doors seem more like inside doors as opposed to outside doors.
I think it would be nicer if the doors were the original ones. Mentally I'm imagining some brass and copper with glass panels, but who knows.
