This is a desk that the owners are turning into a steampunk fishtank. Personally, I'd prefer the desk to the fishtank, but I look forward to seeing the fishtank when it is done. (Especially if they put squid into it.... can you even get squid for fishtanks? )

i also think it would be a great desk with a dark mahogany finish and maybe some vacuum tube style lighting incorporated some how.
If they turn into a fishtank, I have seen freshwater ray's before at various pet stores (I'm sure you could find them on the net). which might be pretty cool inside. Of course having a saltwater tank open up so many possibilities, but the upkeep is such a pain. But yes I'm with you on the squid, how cool would that be?
